Regents Park

Regents Park, named after the ‘playboy price’ Prince Regent (1762–1830), is a stunning royal garden. Situated in North West London and within travelling distance of many London castles, this iconic landmark is a must-see.

Within the park is the world-famous Queen Mary’s garden, an open-air theatre, places to eat and drink, boat and pedalo hire, and much more!

Fun Fact: Queen Mary’s garden contains the largest collection of roses in London, with approximately 12,000 roses growing there!

Tower of London

The crown jewels in London should be top of the list for all royalists. Securely stored in the Tower of London, this collection of 23,578 jewels is available for the public to view.

This is certainly one of the most famous London castles and it has a rich, bloody history. It was a home for the various monarchs, as well as a safe space for war-torn royals’ most valuable possessions. Nowadays the public can go in and independently explore everything.

From the fortress to the 1,000-year-old white tower to the pampered resident ravens, during your visit, there’ll be loads to see!

Westminster Abbey

A ticket to Westminster Abbey is a ticket to the site of 38 coronations and 16 royal weddings. You can walk down the same aisle as Prince William and Princess Kate, then see where William the Conqueror was crowned.

You’ll also get the chance to see the burial plots of late monarchs as well as public figures. We recommend checking out the Poet’s Corner, a burial spot for many writers and poets, such as Charles Dickens.

Hampton Court Palace and Gardens

Hampton Court Palace’s history can be traced back to the Tudor era. For example, this royal palace used to house King Henry VIII! When visiting Hampton Court Palace you’ll learn about the Tudor lifestyle in some depth, for instance how they cooked and kept themselves busy.

With a palace admissions ticket, you can visit the Chapel Royal, a 450-year-old chapel that is still an active place of worship, or even the haunted gallery. Afterwards, head outside to the Hampton Court Palace maze, or to see the world’s longest grapevine.

Kensington Palace

Here you can see the birthplace of Queen Victoria and learn about the lifestyle of the Stuart Dynasty. Alternatively, you can get a close look at royal-wedding memorabilia with the display of Princess Diana’s dress at Kensington Palace.

For those who want to stay in the sun during their visit, you can stroll through Kensington Palace Gardens without a ticket. For more information or to book your tickets to Kensington Palace, click here.
